Stable Cottage, Cairnadrochit, Braemar, AB35 5YS

Braemar is a pretty village situated in the heart of beautiful Royal Deeside.  As well as being a great base from which to explore the surrounding hills, it is also close to Balmoral Castle, and plays host to the Highland Gathering in September, a spectacular event attended annually by the Royal Family.

Stable Cottage itself is on a quiet private lane minutes from the local amenities, including the excellent Tourist Information Centre.

From Aberdeen
Braemar is 60 miles west of Aberdeen on the A93 via Ballater. Aberdeen airport is situated in Dyce on the outskirts of Aberdeen.

From Perth
Braemar is 50 miles north of Perth on the A93 via Blairgowrie.

From Inverness
Take the A9 to Aviemore, A95 to Grantown-on-Spey, A939 to Ballater and then the A93 to Braemar.
